Workshop 7: The Food System and Healthy Eating

This interactive workshop will focus on the topic of the Food System and Healthy Eating. This workshop will convene partners from a range of disciplines including food systems, public health, and planning. Participants will learn about our regional food system, how it influences healthy eating, and the impact our professions can have on shaping a better food environment. Further, participants will gain insights from Montgomery County’s Food Equity Coalition and work to identify strategies to boost health outcomes through improvements to our regional food system.
